Welcome to the ExpatGreece.gr network!
ExpatGreece.gr aims to become the largest online community of foreign and dual nationals living in Greece and to support the community through this web site by offering:- the ability to build a network of friends, family and business associates
- the ability to create and join groups, allowing members as well as expat community groups to reach out further to find other members with similar interests and goals
- the ability for each group to have its own private discussion forum
- the ability to advertise through online classifieds
- the ability to create and run a blog
- the ability to post details of events, such as business openings, charity fundraisers, seminars and talks, bazaars, etc.
- the ability to allow business and freelance professional members to advertise their services in a business directory, with the aim of providing services in languages other than Greek, as well as discounts, to ExpatGreece.gr members
Whilst membership is open to all, the site is specifically intended for foreign nationals, and those holding dual nationality living in Greece.
IS THIS SITE SAFE? Yes, completely. Whilst there are similarities between Facebook and this site, we don't allow the same systems that have caused viruses and other problems for Facebook. You can also hide your profile and other details from the security settings after you sign up so that nobody has access to your details unless you'd like them to.
We hope that you'll join us, and we look forward to welcoming you.
SPECIAL NOTE: To support the International flavour of this site, we request that postings are only made in English and in exceptional circumstances in Greek. If your native tongue is not English, you can post in your native language in any Group that has been created specifically for your nationality.
